Chris Kim (they/them) is a filmmaker in California with an interest in storyboarding, TV and feature development, and writing. They're currently studying at USC as an animation major in the class of 2024.They enjoy exploring interpersonal relationships, the subjectivity of reality, and intersectional identities in their work. Their favorite stories encourage empathy and connection!
In addition, Chris is interested in incorporating unconventional storytelling methods and multimedia approaches in their art.

Film made in 48 hrs based the prompt "detective". A museum owner describes a stolen statue.

Someone goes on a date with a fish person and confronts a dying(?) bunny.

Red, White, and Blue (2019):
An installation completed in 5 days at MICA's interdisciplinary art precollege program.
The theme was body and identity. The project covers American vs. Korean culture and gender roles in both.

Afterlife (2018):
Film made at CSSSA's animation program in one week.
Based off of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, this film covers the ideas of capitalizing off of deaths and the inherent power imbalances that come with it.
